Undergraduate Program in Chinese Language and Literature:
To cultivate international talents who are proficient in Chinese language and culture and possess cross-cultural communication skills, the School of International Cultural Education of Heilongjiang University has launched a bachelor's degree program in Chinese Language and Literature for international students.
1、Curriculum design：
Language courses |
Primary Chinese Comprehensive, Intermediate Chinese Comprehensive, Advanced Chinese Comprehensive, Chinese Listening, speaking, reading and Writing classified skills training courses, as well as Chinese pronunciation correction, Chinese phonetic vocabulary, Modern Chinese grammar, Ancient Chinese, Chinese-Foreign Language translation, New Chinese words and other courses. |
Cultural courses |
Courses include an overview of China, Chinese history, Chinese tourism geography, ancient Chinese literature, modern and contemporary Chinese literature, Chinese philosophical thought, Chinese folk customs, as well as economics and law. |

3、Cultivation Model:
Four-year undergraduate program. Start learning Chinese from scratch and no prior knowledge of the language is required. The training model adopts a two-year intensive training in Chinese language listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, as well as a two-year combination of Chinese professional knowledge and cultural knowledge.
4、Admission Requirements:
（1）Have obtained a high school diploma； |
（2）Foreign citizens who are physically and mentally healthy； |

6、Application materials
(1)A copy of the passport
(2)High school diploma
(3)High school transcript;
(4)Academic proficiency test score report for undergraduate admission to China;
(5)"Physical Examination Record for Foreigners" (Copy, original to be kept by yourself) This form is uniformly printed by the Chinese health and quarantine department and must be filled out in English.Applicants should strictly undergo the examination in accordance with the items required in the "Physical Examination Record for Foreigners". The "Physical Examination Record for Foreigners" is invalid if it is incomplete, does not have the individual's photo attached, or the photo is not stamped with a cross-stitch seal, or does not have the signatures and seals of the doctor and the hospital. Given that the validity period of the examination results is six months, applicants are requested to determine the time for their physical examination based on this (the format of the physical examination form is attached as Appendix 1).

8、Admission and Notification
Applicants should complete the online application before June 10th. Heilongjiang University will send the Admission Notice and the Visa Application Form for Foreign Students to Study in China (JW202 Form) to the admitted students in early July each year. Admitted students should report to the school for registration at the prescribed time.
